Can I see the colour in person before I commit to ordering?
Yes, absolutely! We can send swatches of the colours that you are interested in directly to your address anywhere in the country.
There is no limit to how many colours you can request, so if you’d like to see a few different shades before deciding we can send you all the colours you are choosing between.

What does "event-ready" linen mean at Plato Catering Hire?
It means you take it straight from the bag and it’s on the table within minutes. No waiting. No guesswork. No ‘morning-of-the-big-day’ panic.
Every piece of linen in our hire collection, which includes tablecloths, napkins and chair sashes, goes through a four-stage process before it reaches you. It’s commercially laundered, steam-pressed, hand-checked for any marks or imperfections, then hand-iron finished to a crisp, clean standard. Once finished it’s sealed individually by order in dust-free bags to keep it that way until it reaches your venue.
One thing worth knowing is that because linen is folded for transport and storage, fold lines are a natural part of hired linen. Most of our customers find they fall out beautifully once the tablecloth is laid and dressed. For those who prefer an absolutely seamless finish, a quick pass with an iron directly on the table takes less than a minute and transforms the result. Either way, your tables will look exactly as they should.

After your event we collect everything dirty and take care of the washing-up and laundering, so the only thing you need to think about is your guests.

How much will delivery and collection cost me?
We want to keep your costs to a minimum. The delivery price varies on location and distance from our warehouse. Please get in touch for an accurate quotation. Our standard delivery and collection hours are between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. Please call one of our team to talk about your requirements.
Deliveries and Collections are quoted for door-to-door service by a single driver to a ground-floor entrance with easy access. If you need a non-ground floor drop-off and other requirements, then extra charges may apply. To find out, please call 01789 491133
