Generating the perfect event atmosphere has a great deal to do with how guest seating is arranged – and key to that, above all else, is the table layout you decide to go with.
 
Arranging large numbers of guests into smaller groups, each seated around circular tables, can work wonders for creating a cosily intimate vibe. For more of a convivial party atmosphere, you might prefer to go with a bench seating arrangement at longer trestle-style tables.
 
Then again, if mingling is the aim of the game, you may wish to dispense with chairs altogether and instead scatter a few bar-style ‘poseur’ tables around the room, ideal for chatting over drinks and canapes.
